Church Centre
Fountainhall Church Centre is ideally located at the junction of Fountainhall Road and Beaconsfield Place close to Aberdeen City Centre, the main arterial routes and public transport links by bus, rail and air.
With the versatile accommodation available the Centre is well suited to provide a comfortable and flexible venue for small to medium sized conferences, sales meetings, training sessions, company Away Days, community groups, workshops and receptions.
The accommodation, on the ground floor, comprises: the manager’s office, toilets and three meeting rooms one of which has tea/coffee kitchen facilities. On the first floor, which has recently been upgraded, there is the Lawrence Lounge, Raven Room, both ideal for larger meetings or events, a fully fitted kitchen, church offices and toilet facilities including a disabled toilet. There is lift access to the first floor. The Centre is fully accessible for those with restricted mobility and the Centre has its own private car park. WiFi is available.
There is a manager on duty throughout the day, and they can be available on evenings and Saturdays as required. The centre is available for use Monday – Friday 9.00 am – 5.00 pm. Evenings and Saturdays can also be booked by arrangement. The Centre is normally closed during the school summer holidays but if you wish for example to host a conference, we would be happy to see if we could accommodate your booking.
The centre is an ideal conference venue with the ability to combine the upper rooms into one conference space and use the other rooms as breakout rooms as similar, and the ability to provide refreshments and catering. Please look at our Conferences at the Centre page for more information.
On the ground floor, this is the largest open space in the Centre with a capacity up to 70 people. It has a movable partition which can split the room in two to allow the rooms to be booked separately. Chairs and tables can be set up for a meeting/ event or the space can be left free for a children's party or special occasion.

On the ground floor, this is a medium sized room with a capacity of up to 20 people, which can also be set up with tables or chairs or left as an open space. The room is well suited to an evening group meeting on a regular basis. The room contains a small open plan kitchen area.

The Quiet Room
Located near the front door on the ground floor and with a capacity of up to 6 people, this room contains the Church Library which can be used by all visitors to the Centre. The room can also be used for quiet meditation or prayer, or for occasional small meetings.
On the first floor, this is a large and attractively shaped room with a capacity of up to 70 people, overlooking Fountainhall Road. With lounge seats and low tables the room is well suited to a relaxed gathering. There are two serving hatches from the Kitchen.
The Lawrence Lounge and the Raven Room can be combined to provide an exceptional space for larger groups or a reception.

On the first floor, with a capacity of up to 40 people, this has a solid beach floor to enhance the natural elegance and light of this room. Comfortable upright chairs and versatile tables are available which can be used for small groups or couples, or put together to form a large conference or meeting table. There is a serving hatch from the kitchen.

By car. Fountainhall Church Centre is situated at the junction of Beaconsfield Place and Fountainhall Road, close to the Queen’s Cross roundabout in the West End area of Aberdeen. Arriving from the South, follow the A92/South Anderson Drive. Turn right onto Queen’s Road, which will lead you straight to Queen’s Cross roundabout. Turn left to enter Fountainhall Road and the church Centre will be on your left. Arriving from the North, join the A92/North Anderson Drive. Turn left onto Queen’s Road, which will lead you straight to Queen’s Cross roundabout. Turn left to enter Fountainhall Road and the church Centre will be on your left.
By train/Bus. The bus station is situated in Union Square shopping centre, next to the train station. The bus 13 will take you to Fountainhall Road - alternative the buses that serve Fountainhall at the Cross will all take you close to the Church Centre.
PARKING
